Executive Search

Nichols Employment Agency, from its UK and South African bases of operation, delivers standard recruitment and retention solutions for the public, private and voluntary sectors. However, we now offer an executive search service where we find the right candidates for those high-end and specialist positions from accountant roles to computer programming jobs.

Institutional Audits & Health Checks

The motivation for institutional audits, health checks and organisational reviews is to inform the organisation of how it is performing with regard to it's many drivers - legal, ethical and business. The process involves identifying the valuable aspects of current policies and procedures, determining levels of compliance with legislation, good practice and sector benchmarks. This helps Senior Managers and Heads of Services to work on areas needing improvement and providing a significant set of results and recommendations, verified by an independent third party.

The resultant report will lend authority to the performance of a Ministry, Department or Agency and provide the basis for determining a range of intervention strategies that will make it an exemplary high performing institution and an Agency of first choice for staff and external partners.

Public Sector Modernisation Programmes

We have access to a network of very experienced local officers and management consultants with many years experience. These professionals are able to work in partnership with Government agencies and NGOs to prepare and present strategies, policies/procedures and action plans.

CRB for Companies

The Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), an Executive Agency of the Home Office, provides wider access to criminal record information through its disclosure service. This service enables organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors to make safer recruitment decisions by identifying candidates who may be unsuitable for certain work, especially that involve children or vulnerable adults.

Organisations wishing to use the service can ask successful job applicants to apply for one of two types of check. The type of check required will depend upon the nature of the position. These are called Enhanced and Standard Disclosures.

NEA is a registered CRB umbrella body and conducts CRB checks for a number of different individuals working in various sectors.
